Stormi Pulver White, PsyD joined the Marcus Autism Center in 2018 where she is currently the Program Manager in the Diagnostic Services Program. Additionally, Dr. White holds an Assistant Professorship in the Division of Autism and Related Disorders, Department of Pediatrics, Emory University School of Medicine. Before joining the Marcus Autism Center, Dr. White was an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) where she held administrative titles of Head of Psychology and Co-Clinical Director within the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (CADD). Dr. White’s clinical and research interests include early identification and intervention for autism spectrum disorders as well as clinical characterization of rare variant disorders. She has collaborated on several studies investigating sensory-motor abnormalities in autism spectrum disorders and Fragile X Syndrome and was part of a large rare disease consortium investigating the natural history and biomarker development in Phelan McDermid Syndrome. Currently, Dr. White is a co-investigator looking at health disparities in accessing early diagnostic evaluations for children suspected of having an autism spectrum disorder.
