Patricia Osbourn

Patricia Osbourn, MA, SLP/CCC is a speech-language pathologist with over 30 years of experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She is the Director of the Autism Program, a large program offering training, parent support and clinical services and the Associate Director of the Center for Development & Disability, University of New Mexico. She has developed curricula and videos for teachers of children with ASD and has delivered several invited international presentations on topics ranging from diagnosis and assessment of ASD, evidenced based interventions in ASD as well as the influence of culture on language and communication interventions. She has been faculty for the NM Leadership in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities and has taught graduate students from a variety of disciplines. For the past eight years, she has facilitated an online course, “Foundations of ASD” to several sites within India.
