Christine Puckering – 9th international forum 'Every child deserves a family'

Christine Puckering

Christine Puckering is a clinical, neuro and forensic psychologist with a strong interest in early infancy and how parenting influences children’s development and wellbeing. She holds honorary appointments at the University of Glasgow and Glasgow Caledonian University and founded Mellow Parenting, an NGO that works from pregnancy to preschool to support families to make the best relationships with their children, particularly where they are under stress. Mellow Parenting programmes are run in the UK but also in New Zealand Russia, Germany, Tajikistan and Moldova.
She has published extensively on infant mental health and in 2015 won two awards for her work in this area. She held a Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship to explore how other countries identify and support at risk infants and their families.
