Kathleen “Mo” Taylor

Kathleen “Mo” Taylor, OTR/L, is an Occupational Therapist with a 30 year history of working with children, adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorder. She works with the University of New Mexico Autism Programs at the Center for Development and Disability (CDD), and also has a private practice, “Theraplay” where she provides therapy and consultation for people with autism across the life span. Kathleen consults with parents, schools, camps, and adult agencies to help provide appropriate supports and accommodations for individuals with ASD. Kathleen is the practicum director of Camp Rising Sun, a residential camping program for children and teens with ASD and their peers. Kathleen leads the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program at camp where undergraduate, graduate, doctoral students, and Russian Trainees learn and provide support to campers with ASD. She has shared her experiences through trainings around the state, USA, and internationally. Her career has been devoted to better “real life” outcomes for all individuals with ASD.
