Jeffrey Wozniak

Dr. Wozniak is a Clinical Pediatric Neuropsychologist and a researcher who studies the impacts of prenatal alcohol exposure of brain development and cognition. He directs the University of Minnesota’s Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) research program and is the past president of the international FASD Study Group. His primary research interests are in using advanced neuroimaging techniques to understand the challenges faced by children with FASD and in evaluating interventions targeting neurodevelopment in these children. He is currently conducting one of the only studies of choline supplementation in children with FASD and is testing its effects on cognitive development. Dr. Wozniak also advocates for individuals with disabilities and mental health problems in his home state, Minnesota.
